Frequently Asked Questions

Person-Centred Therapy is a type of talking therapy focusing on creating a supportive, non-judgmental environment where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings openly.Rather than giving advice or directing the session, the therapist offers empathy, unconditional positive regard, and genuineness, helping clients build self-awareness, self-acceptance, and personal growth.
Sessions are 50 minutes long, and the end time is the same regardless of the start time

Yes — what you share in counselling is private and stays between us. The only times I may need to break confidentiality are:
-
If I’m worried that you or someone else is as risk of serious harm
-
If I’m required to by law (like a court order)
-
If you tell me something about terrorism or money laundering
-
When I speak to my professional supervisor (I don’t share your name or details)
If I ever need to share something, I will try to talk to you about it first. You can always ask me more about this in your free consultation or during sessions.
